I have a select group of HikVision DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3 PTZ cameras that are refusing to work with Exacqvision using motion. I have updated the camera firmware and reset motion mask to no avail.
To further complicate things I have several of the exact same model working with motion just fine.
Curious what other steps I could take other than simply replacing those cameras.

You mention a motion mask, make sure that there is no mask enabled at all. Motion Mask will block motion from being detected. I would also ensure that the plug-in being used on the add IP camera page is the same as the working cameras. If that all checks out, next step would be to ensure the camera itself is detecting motion directly through its browser interface, if it is not - that likely points to a camera side issue.
